The Royal Duchy.. 46100 Royal Scot 06/08/17

    Heres my video of a great day chasing Royal Scot. The train is seen at Whiteball,Totnes,Treboul on the down train and Keyham,Bycellar Bridge and Tiverton Parkway on the return. The day ended in an unusual way with Royal Scot coming off at Exeter St Davids instead of Taunton Fairwater Yard. 33207 was sent to Exeter to take the train on to Bristol.
    The climb from the standing start after water stop at Totnes was brilliant so turn up the volume for that clip!!

    Yes I am an active volunteer
    According to operating sources, 46100 had insufficient coal to work the train to Taunton.

    (Much better to give up where the WTT train service can pass the train in trouble than stop in the middle of nowhere and block the entire train service.)

    I did hear rumours that they had taken Royal Scot off because it was low on coal but not knowing the veracity of the story I didnt put it on my captions.. maybe the reason will become clear sometime..
