Couldn't find a thread for this trip ... apologies if it's hiding elsewhere.

Will venture out for this regardless of the weather :)

Anyone know if it's the usual 47 on the bottom leg or something more interesting like 86259 ?.

On time through Docker. Looking good with the Royal Scot headboard and all maroons on except the rear one which is green.

Just had a message that after passing Greyrigg summit 56, 46233 went on to top Shap summit at 46.... now that's not from an 'official' timekeeper but it's still outstanding, considering the weather conditions.

Don't blame you - I'm having second thoughts for the return, despite my earlier assertions!

Passed me near the summit going very well, working much harder than on the S&C last weekend as one would expect.

A fine shot John despite the light conditions.

Superb shot John - cracking angle for a Duchess. Nice memories too.

My video from today, not able to go far due to other commitments, so it's just local.

The blast from the unit near the end was for those at the other end of the platform who were on the edge to see 46233 going away.

Many thanks to Peter for updates both ways...
