    The tour to Hartlepool for the visit of the Tall Ships is fully booked, RTC have a massive reserve waiting list. I enquired if a second train was possible. RTC tried to arrange one but it wasn't possible.

    Could see 5690 coming across the viaduct this morning from where I was and must say I was kicking myself with the sun! Good stuff.

    Another good tours enjoyment yet again spoiled by the whole train being turned. 37516 added for reversal at second york stop which provided assistant on outward but has remained idle of the return. At least some thrash was got on 47712 on additionals!

    Just to add for those waiting we are currently being held at york due to a cable theft at leeds. No info on time of departure yet
