Hopefully the run north will be a bit quicker than last year!!!!

Real bonus having bittern northbound as well, be good to match the performance of SNG, and her.

Call me a cynic, but until the times appeared on UKsteaminfo, was a bit sceptical that 60019 was going to make an appearance.

However it is, and looking forward to it, lets hope the weather is Ok for all concerned.

This is so frustrating. Two A4s passing within a mile and a half of my door and I'll be working. :(

Also ... rather rare situation of two A4s being in Ferme Park at the same time as each other..... shame there are no accessible photo locations there!

    Cheers,

Only downside is the return time 16:36, leaving just over 2 hours in the smoke.

Never mind, something to eat and a few beers later.....

With the prospect of a dusting of snow on the landscape to really show the blue "streak" to best advantage - provided it's not "the wrong type of snow...." ;-)

Uksteam shows 60019 stopping only at Retford for 14 minutes on the return journey. Is this a water stop or does 60019 have two tenders to go all the way?http://uksteam.info/tours/t10/t1127d.htm

Anyone know where 'Bittern' is going after York? It's not mentioned on any tours and neither NRM or NYMR

The Lincoln Christmas Fayre is showing 70000, as motive power from newcastle to lincoln and return on 3-12-10.

Not wanting to undermine the tremendous work done on 70000, but her test run is shown for wednesday of that week.

Would expect 60019 to do the run in that case, just a thought ....

Given how much is falling over in the east at the moment this could be a lot closer to the truth than you intended!!

We've now got about 5 or 6 inches here in Durham, could get some nice shots where there's light!
