A few shots from Sunday at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Wartime weekend, looked to be very busy at both Pickering and Levisham when driving through.

    In service was 60007, 45212, 45428, 63395, 49395 & 825.

Full video coverage is available on the 'Part 5: Autumn Steam 2010' DVD.

I should have gone to this considering the brilliant weather. However after trekking round dull Cumbria looking for sun the day before I decided like you on Saturday to stay in bed!

Great to see the big blue engine is back though.

Simon must not have spotted that 76079 was in use too.

60007 was officially "running in" which is why it was only on trains with another locos (I think entirely 63395).

Really glorious weather yeaterday after a very cold start,m and the crowds seem to respond! The numbers meant time-keeping went a bit off but we managed to be not too far adrift with the last trains and also avoided any delay to Northern on Saturday.

Sorry Steven, yes I had seen it coming on shed yesterday afternoon, my mistake.

Great to see 60007 back in action, it was like filming a whole different selection of engines yesterday. 60007 did top and tail with 63395 on the 10.30 off Grosmont and double headed with 63395 on the 13.30 Ex Grosmont.

Levisham looked to be very busy yesterday morning, never seen it that busy before! Although cars were parked all alongside the road on the slope down into Levisham which made crossing cars a complete nightmare!
