Just looking through the various threads, cant seem to find any mention of this tour but then again no surprise! RTC "The Waverley", Thursday, 1st April featuring 6201 "Princess Elizabeth" on one way trip to Edinburgh from Liverpool Lime St. For times etc: http://www.uksteam.info/tours/t10/t0401a.htm Return is by Diesel after approx 4 hour stay in Edinburgh.

Given the exceptionally early departure (05.51hrs), has anyone booked on it from Lime St, Broadgreen or St Helens? This tour seems to be purely a loco move in connection with the GB as it cant be attractive for punters for such an early star and ultimately a long day?

Originally this was supposed to be "Olive Cromwell" on the following day, Friday 2nd but given the times it would make no difference. May it is an "April Fool's" prank? :))

By the way - this is no criticsim on the operators etc but it just seems a waste of time starting from Liverpool given such an early start (in fact would she not be the first train out of Lime St that morning?).

Already covered here - perhaps one of the mods could change the title?
