Can't see a thread for this RTC trip mentioned yet: http://www.railwaytouring.net/uk-day-trips/the-welshman
Still showing 34067 Tangmere hauling it ( - although I believe 61306 Mayflower is now hauling Saturday's RTC "Cotswold Venturer" as 34067 is not available).
Does anyone know yet if Tangmere should be available on Saturday week or might 61306 have to cover this too?

Had an e-mail about this trip with a discount offered and it says 34067 is scheduled to haul it. I wonder if she will.........

Uksteam now showing a provisional move by 70000 'Britannia' from Bristol to Southall on Friday, 19th.

If Tangmere is unavailable, this leaves the option of a D + ECS + Britannia move from Southall to Poole in readiness for Saturday morning. <BJ>

Will whatever loco that takes it from Poole be watered before it departs Poole?

I haven't seen the exact timings for the Swanage Railway legs but suspect they won't be too different from those estimated by Network Rail.

Today's ECS is on it's way. According to RTT, despite being 55L leaving Willesden, it left Southampton 3E. Has anyone seen it yet? Is Tangmere taking part?

No rain in Bristol today, but it has still to deal with Filton Bank.
