I'm sure they'll tell you what you need to know, especially if you tell them the name in which the booking was made and the fact your uncle is out of the country.

I don't think there'll be a new date announced for a while, since it is planned as a special tour to inaugurate Tornado running in Brunswick Green if I remember correctly. They will need to see what the engineers find out about the boiler and the necessary repairs, after which it's got to come back to the UK, get reassembled and repainted, and presumably quite thoroughly tested.

currently showing on the A1 Steam Locomotive Website as date TBC. I cannot see a new date being announced for this trip until it is known when Tornado will be ready.

Still no official letter from SD or the A1 Trust saying that the trip is postponed/cancelled, pretty poor in my opinion. SD have said on the phone that they are waiting for a better idea of when the loco will be back in action.

Since this trip will be Tornado, and the return to the mainline looks like late May rather than early May now ( See Uk steam info), they are obviously not certain when it will return at the moment, there is no point in arranging a date it might not make.
They wanted this run to be the first run in Brunswick Green, although this looks less lightly now.
Looking at its list of bookings, and assuming the trip will be a Saturday - either late May ( but this is just before Steam Dreams run to York)late June or Mid to Late September look the most likely
