Or is it to be the CHRISTMAS YORKSHIREMAN ?. what a long day for the crew(s). Off Southall 04.39 and into York 13.51. With 7 1/2 hours behind steam for passengers from Victoria and 3hrs of running before taking water ??? !! Looking forward to seeing plenty of photos on here of a green A4 making her way up the London Midland, and as I was brought up at Luton, it was all Jubilees and Scots and Black 5's. Get out there with your cameras lads and lasses !!!! Pete

RTT Path has not yet activated the paths, and yesterday's Christmas Carol timetables have been deactivated...

There was a post on Twitter last night saying RTT's real time feed would be down for a few hours from 00.30 for maintenance. Another tweet a few minutes ago said they expect it to be working ok within the hour.

Please, what's a running "well box"?

Anything like a running well tank?

Here's 2 I took earlier, (December 1962 I think). Running between Wimbledon and Raynes Park.

Not quite what I had in mind - the wind blew the exhaust down, but hey... Anyway, here's No.9 heading north at East Hyde (just north of Harpenden) catching the morning sunrise.

Its a vascular medical condition caused by cold fingers in the semi darkness on a cracked smartphone screen. Funnily enough it can only be diagnosed by those with another medical condition, Pedantrious nimia.

46253 in a well chosen vantage point. Assume you were standing there waiting for it to get light !!! She should be standing at Kettering now already.

Thankyou! I took advantage of my latest toy to get a bit of a different angle too - a telescopic pole with my camera on top.

    Cheers,
    Tim

A brave attempt. Unlucky with the exhaust. As you say, so near yet so far. At least you saw it, I'm stuck at home recovering from hernia op. :(
