Yes, cancelled. As per other threads, 46115 was failed, yesterday, at Rugby.

Just passed 46115 running round its support coach at Rugby a few minutes ago.

Move the decimal point. With a hot box, more like 13.4mph would seem appropriate!!

Keep her north of the Mersey and she seems to be fine!

Just out of interest. We are talking here about a loco that was stopped yesterday for what we were told was a hot box. If this is the path then I see it ran from Nuneaton to Rugeley in 33 minutes. That's a distance of 28 miles - an average of 50 ish.

So allowing for restrictions on speed for LE movements it doesn't seem that the problem was as serious as some thought yesterday???????

It does very much suggest that calling a halt at Rugby was more of a precautionary decision to prevent serious damage and a potentially lengthy delay on the WCML.

If so, probably a wise if unfortunate decision given the close scrutiny WCRC are still likely to be under.

She ran tender first to Crewe then turned on the triangle then followed the Earl into P12 to water
