Yobs are causing terror on trains across South Wales.

Passengers and staff have been assaulted and intimidated by gangs of hundreds of youngsters using stations as a haven for anti-social behaviour.

Today, Arriva Trains Wales has revealed a list of shocking attacks and problems that are happening on their routes on a daily basis in a bid to highlight the major problem.

And in a stark message, train bosses are warning they could be forced to cancel services if they continue to have problems.

In one of the most serious incidents, a train that stopped in Ystrad Rhondda was 'held hostage' while a gang tormented the people travelling in it for an hour.
