A great shame. Although it's operations were firmly aimed at the 'family' market the line passed through some magnificent scenery and had a nice selection of 1950's motive power - F10's rebuilt from early F3's, Budd RDC's and a couple of GP9's. No reasons for the closure were given in the local papers when I was there earlier this week.
