I'm taking her Ladyship on this. She's in to A4's and I thought it would be nice to have a dose of 60007, however, that was supposedly replaced by 60019 which is the only UK based A4 she requires. Now it's 6201 which is also very agreeable as I have never had that on the main line. I'm looking forward to this even more now.

    Regards,

    Paul

I would have thought Her ladyship would be happy in the company of a Princess?

I'm going on it as well as I've never had a Princess. So it'll be my first time, but I don't want her to go gently for me. LOL !

I am sure that neither of you will be disappointed... but we do want her back home soon.

Sorry to disappoint you Ralph but she will be at TYS for a few weeks yet.
But I promise you will be pleasantly surprised when she does return north.:)

Has she been receiving the ministration of the TYS engineering team and a lot of polished copper and brass ?

I somehow don't think Ralph would consider that to be a pleasant surprise.

Don't mind a few weeks, but back in time for the Scarborough Flyers and Cumbrian Mountains, see if she will be going as fast on the way home...

Polished coppper, sacrilege of catastrophic proportions...

Oh no another thought, I hope paint brushes don't come into it.

Oh dear. I've ordered a couple of cab side sized number "3"s, plus a smoke box number sized 3 as well. And a lot of green paint. Well, she is working from and too Victoria and I want her to feel at home.

As well as the paint and the copper bits, she is going to be renamed "King Elizabeth 1"

Hope you kept your reciept with that green paint ;-) I dont think it will be needed.............. But with the old girl being as busy as she is at the moment, it looks like the brushes can be put back on the shelf too!!!

No need for the "3" prefix, just a coat of olive green, some black and white lining and on the tender, in big yellow letters, "SOUTHERN" with the number 6201 underneath! Or maybe malachite green and "sunshine" lettering would be more appropriate? "21C201" anyone? :))

    Yes, I'm sorry.

Can't keep up with all that is going on here sometimes. I'm getting old and stupid now.
