Train services this w/e - at Oswestry & Llynclys

    Hey just a quick note -

    Trains will be operating this weekend at both Llynclys and Oswestry.

    # Oswestry

    Trains will run as required from 1030 - 1630hrs Sunday and Monday only.

    It is understood that traction will be 'Telemon' and the LMS brakevan.


    # Llynclys

    A regular DMU service will operate at Llynclys tomorrow (Saturday) - click here for details http://www.cambrianrailways.com/html/20 ... table.html .

    However, on Sunday a Fathers Day special event will take place. Significantly, fathers will be able to drive the DMU for just £7.50 for a return trip, under the supervision of our experienced and friendly staff. To avoid disappointment, pre-booking is recommended - which can be done on-line - see CHR website.

    Other attractions will include a BBQ, a model railway display (static) and an operating N-gauge layout 'Aberaeron Bog'.

    Please note that a public service will not be in operation at Llynclys on Monday owing to staff training taking place. However, trains WILL be running at Oswestry.
