    Sunday saw the first Amersham & District Motorbus Society's bus running season kick off with an event based in Tring and Hemel Hempstead. The weekend marked 40 years since the closure of the London Transport/Country bus garage at Tring and the present owners of the site kindly allowed the buses to turn outside the building that started life as the garage. The usual mix of GS, RF, RT, and RM variations were present as well as a couple of other types.
