Two million passengers use Sochi Lastocka trains

    Sochi’s Lastocka trains have transported more than two million passengers since the start of the Winter Olympics, according to Russian Railways.

    The national rail operator has indicated that passenger numbers have grown substantially as the level of competition has increased on the mountain, from 121,000 on the opening day to 281,000 on February 16.

    On the opening day of the competition, 198 trains arrived and departed from the Olympic station in Adler – six more than originally planned.
