Vantage points on the Littleborough-Hebden Bridge route

    Hi, does anybody know of any photographic locations on this route? I've got this Friday's Scarborough Flyer in mind but I don't really know where the best spots are. I like this shot:

    Taken at Todmorden which I'm guessing is a return journey shot, but it's scheduled to go through at near enough 8.30pm so the light might be a bit low for that. The same location:

    From another angle might be decent for the outward run, but would I be right in thinking the loco is working downhill (thus little/no exhaust) at that point?

    Basically all advice would be appreciated, especially for the outbound journey.

    Sorry,you have the wrong line.Lydgate viaduct is on the Copy Pit route to Burnley not the Calder Valley line

    Damn. The whole route confuses me in all honesty. Are there any decent spots on the Calder line?
