VB4 beta is out now, and I am giving you a chance to have a look at the new format that is much easier on the eye.

Don't expect it to work 100%

There are a lot of bugs, items like the main page not working (The CMS)

But you should get a feel for it.

Please feel free to register and play about.
Nothing will be kept from it.

We will now be installing this latest version of software.
Properly overnight tonight or tomorrow night, from 10pm onwards.
This will have no effect on your accounts, usernames or passwords.
The forum will be closed buring this period just to allow the correct permissions set's to be checked and avatars etc to be moved across.
The forum will be going live after the install 9:00am the next morning.

This will be going ahead tonight @ 10pm.

 

In preparation of this, We have added 512MB RAM to the server,
Should make things run a lot faster.

I have also been bust optimizing the Database and repairing where needed.

 

I have now started to disable various systems and fuctions. This will enable a smooth transfer and import of the database.

 

Looks like we're all set for the move.
Just waiting for 10pm to come along.

Whilst I have been waiting and working, I have noticed a really cool feature
within the new software,
You can choose exactly who can see your profile and any particular part of your profile.
You can have everyone see your details, or just your friends, or even just registered users.
Adding more security and piece of mind.

 

That was a lot quicker then I thought.
Any problems, Permission issues etc. contact myself or any of the team and we will try to sort it out.

Oops.. got an issue when I click on the home button in the top left corner...
it says i dont have permission to view it.. (See the first screenshot with red box..

 

I have been trying to reproduce the problem, with other account permissions. Can't. will keep trying though.

 

What version browser are you using?
