The title reads as is. I know that I'm not the only one who gets excited about the new tour announcement when it comes around. Just a when would be great. I'm sure that your working very hard at putting the itinerary together.

    That is it for now.

I'd be willing to bet that whatever is announced, it will stand a much greater chance of running as advertised than that announced by their competitors.

I thank you all for your patience. There were a few routes we needed to verify before we were confident enough to publish. The brochure is at the printers as we speak; as soon as we start putting them in the post, we will release the tours on the website also.

We have a few old favorites….including something fun for the Panniers….and some new trips.

No Rood Ashton over S&C (sorry) but it will see quite a bit of use to several closer destinations.

And we have found somewhere we haven’t visited with 5043 yet…

5043 on proper Southern metals? Or a sprint up the ECML from the X?

What about West Wales ? Carmarthen, Tenby, Pembroke Dock, Fishguard Harbour etc ? I don't think 5043 has been down that way yet has she ?

..and of course 5043 was based at Carmarthen shed in the 1950s, immediately prior to getting its double chimney. I have a photo of it standing at Carmarthen on the 6.45pm Carmarthen to Wood Lane milk train.

Definitely! Whilst a 47 with a glorified headboard certainly provided something different, 5043 vs Beattock is still something some of us are waiting to experience.

Weather at weekend in many areas is very hot 28-30C with thunder and heavy rain.
Sounds promising on purely the weather, but don't know what the Current Fire Con is at.
