Vintage Trains rarely give outline times. Where they have a trip is in conjunction with Chiltern or First Great Western, outline times have been given.

    I thank-you for the interest.

We have requested a 7:30am departure from Tyseley. Also the standard 30 minute stop on Crewe P12 for water.

We will see what the computer spits out!

Will you be stopping at the Brighouse water hole?

I am looking forward to linesiding this tour and hope to see 5043 in a few locations. I was tempted to book on but we are on the VT trip 3 weeks earlier with 6201.

I do like the write up on the Vintage Trains website...

Ben, there is no access from P 12 at Crewe onto the Wilmslow and Stockport line. The RTC's Scarborough Flyer normally uses Platforms 5 or 6 for that reason.

Just to remind everyone that 6201 and 5043 will pass Crewe around 1 hour apart - I would head up there myself if it weren't for exams!

I presume the diesel will come on at Bescot on the return as the tour goes through New Street

    That's a plan

Castle at Stockport - the Buffet Bar and Deepest Lancashire

    then

Beamish Evening photo shoot from 17.00 to 20.00

Just a shame to miss a blue A4 but you have to prioritise at times.

This train has now been rerouted via Warrington BQ and Manchester Victoria rather than Wilmslow and Stockport, due to track problems in the Stockport area.
