    Evening all

    My parents own a 30 foot by 10 foot Willerby static caravan, sited at Rhydyronen on the Talyllyn.

    It is 16 years old and according to the site rules has to be moved off the site this year. We have always looked after it, it has 2 bedrooms and will sleep 6. It has a bathroom and is winter specification to allow for cold nights when we stayed in it to work on the TR in the winter. It is clean, and has been in use until this last week.

    Mum & Dad have asked me to offer it here to any preserved railways/heritage schemes free of charge, apart from bearing the cost of moving it from site by an approved contractor used to moving caravans. It needs to be off site during October or November ideally.

    No strings attached, we're sad to see it go, but would rather it went to a good useful home than ended up scrapped.

    One of our Stationmasters at the Mid-Hants has seen it several times, and although he said it is good, allegedly there are difficulties with the expense of moving it?


    Do you have any idea of the transport costs please?
