Bit of info for you lot that do not like a 'box' on the back of steam tours.
Tomorrows trip with Clan Line to Bristol with the VSOE, we are NOT hauling a 67 round with us all day!
Will make slightly less hard work for us.
Butch and myself will be bringing it back to London tomorrow afternoon.
Those going out to see it, do not forget it is out & back via the Berks & Hants, not via Salisbury.

    Great stuff.

Give us a whistle at the Amen Corner footbridge just before you get to Bracknell Station :)

I'm timing my return from Cornwall tomorrow to see it alongside the Kennett & Avon Canal, hoping the sun can stay out for another 24 hours!

Any news on this one? Hoping to see it later. If the sun is out I might goto Crofton. More likely it'll be Early though.

Just saw 35028 'Clan Line' with the pullmans go through Earley a few minutes down. Slightly ropey mobile video here: http://twitvid.com/RNHED

Nice pictures and a nice clip. Thanks!

Super video, congratulations to Michael and Philip, they have a good eye (or 4, even!) for a shot.

I saw her at Bracknell and Newbury, video will be up soon.

Here's my video of the train at Bracknell and Newbury. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5ME0eEZWZc

Is that you and Butch on the left hand side for the return through Bracknell? If so, thanks for not making it "orange wednesday" by wearing blue .

    And thanks for the whistle!

A poor mobile phone video leaving Theale. Apologies for the picture & sound quality, but you get the general idea.

I am also trying to upload a .jpg photo but it does not not seem to upload although it goes through the motions. It is only 2.17Mb & it says you can upload a .jpg file up to 9.54Mb with no size limit. Can someone please enlighten me? Reading previous posts, it seems a lot of people have trouble uploading photos on here.

Take a look at No.7's video.
More trespasssers on the line, this time at Bradford on Avon.
If this is was M.O.D.property all hell would break loose and they would hunt these guys down and would be given full interrogation and classified as 'spying'.Also photography is banned.

To wander onto private land is stupid, the photographs are of no value what they take. They never are...

Network Rail will take the attitude of the MOD if this carry's on.

I think they're actually on the footpath crossing the line about 300 yds west of the station. That doesn't excuse them being stupid of course but it is a public crossing.

Thanks for the nice comments. The Boys very much enjoy videoing trains, almost as much as riding on them!

Trespass: Yes it is a foot crossing and since NR have cleared the undergrowth it's a nice shot, but we will not use it because to get any reasonable shot you have to be trackside. First time I've seen so many people at that spot.

Watching the video there does seem to be a barrow crossing of sorts between the tracks where they are standing so does indeed suggest a crossing, doesn't a zoom lens also give the impression they are standing closer than they actually are ?.

Butch driving, with Colin Kerswil standing at the cab door. I was on the other side, keeping an eye on the trainee fireman (Paul Majors from Hoo Junction). Made Butch do all the driving, he was not to impressed! He likes to do the fireing. sorry i have not been able to respond earlier, had trouble with the wireless conection for the box of tricks.
