Looked lovely going through Tilehurst but not being pushed very hard on quite a slack schedule.

Would normally be out for this one but I left my camera at my dads! However luck would have it that I am travelling from Oxford by train to Paddington so no doubt I shall see Clan Line from afar!

Going well through Tilehurst on the main, 18:25. Nearly caught me out as I was looking along the relief when it suddenly appeared behind the station building.

Saw her arrive back into Victoria this evening. Being in London and having not seen Clan Line since July, I decided to wait around for it. Looked great as usual.

Interesting to see the photos from Didcot - I was inside the GWS site when Clan Line was towed past up to Oxford, to a fair old exchange of whistles with 1338 which was waiting at a point on the branch line where you could see the special go past. One of the largest preserved steam locos, playing tunes with one of the smallest!

She was going well at Basildon yesterday but wasn't being pushed hard. Picture to follow soon.

Here she is going well at the site of the old Goring water troughs. A shame the sun didn't come out until after she had passed.
