    All,

Shameless advertising again, but we are taking our pair of Panniers to Melton Mowbray and then over Harringworth Viaduct on Bank Holiday Monday - 27th August.

We had hoped to run two trains over the viaduct during the day, but it looks like the timings will only support a luncheon train. We are in the process of contacting the effected passengers today.

The plan is to depart Tyseley at approx 8:30am and steam to Melton Mowbray with passenger stops at Coleshill, Nuneaton and Leicester. At Melton, the passengers will have a choice of traveling to Stapleford Miniature Railway Open Day on vintage buses or remaining on the train (for a few extra pounds) and traveling over the viaduct to Corby and back (the Panniers will be top-and-tail for the shuttle part of the journey.)

In the afternoon, we pick up the Melton passengers for the ride back to Tyseley, getting back to the yard at approx 8pm.

A great summer bank-holiday steam train ride behind our throaty panniers!

Ben, Have you got anything left 'pay on the day' for the afternoon trip?

Looking forward to going on this - see you in a few hours time! Pork pies for lunch?

Steve - we only booked a week ago so I'm guessing it's not full

Reports of delays due to a person hit by a train which appear on first sight to be a short while before the panniers were due through. I do hope this is nothing serious.

Watched panniers over Harringworth viaduct from MM about 5 down. Returned about the same and stopped on the viaduct for a couple of minutes for us all to get lots of shots.

Into Arley Tunnel 18.47. Sounded to be going well up the bank - too wet/cold/dark to venture out!

Departing Melton Mowbray, on the return to Tyseley. More video's to come, including the shunting and on board.

Thanks for sharing but a decent wind gag would improve your videos as I found the wind noise quite distracting in places which is a shame as you've got some otherwise nice footage.

I had thought of suggesting a decent muff but I thought that may bring forth much schoolboy humour. :)
