    All,

We have the times for the revised Valentines to Oxford. Basically we depart Tyseley at 12:20, arriving Oxford at 15:19. We depart Oxford at 18:20 and return to Tyseley Mainline station at 20:19.

The standard fare for this all-steam excursion behind a green loco with a copper-capped chimney (4965 is rostered subject to guaging clearances) is only £49.00. Not a bad price for a Saturday afternoons trip and approx 156 steam miles (94 outward via Worcester SH/North Cotswold line and 62 return direct via Banbury/Leamington)

FYI: Hellified>Carlisle>Carnforth (via Shap) is 146 miles.

If you ask nicely, we might even throw in a free cup of tea!

I am sure NetRail will be working flat-out to get a major passenger (and even more important freight) route back up and running as fast as possible.

If the route is not available we will look at returning up the North Cotswold line (the reverse of outbound).

The old diagram is still the only one up on RTT, so the timings might not be finalised yet.

And now changed to reflect the new route. It now has a wembley / acton / ealing / greenford / paddington - 430 degree loop at the bottom!

Reports of falling brickwork in Chipping Camden Tunnel today which is closed currently, hopefully nothing serious.

Will be interesting if the TSR is still in place for next week. A 5 MPH crawl on a 1/100, wont be much fun !

Timings confirmed for the re-route back up the North Cotswold Line and Old Hill Bank. Email and letter has gone out to the passengers today.

That was the last update I seen on it a few days ago on WNXX, course it's possible it's been lifted and no one has posted as much.

You certainly know all the best places to hang out! NP, WNXX....wow!

No TSR's relating to Chipping Camden Tunnel on the paperwork received from NetRail.

You are both valued customers. I thought sarcasm was a staple of National Preservation. Since I am on here, the comment was even self-deprecating!

Another question is when was the last time 4965 visited the North Cotswold line? It was back in the late 90's.
