Vulcan at Southport Airshow 23 July

    Now confirmed that the Vulcan bomber should display on the Saturday of this years show (which is usually held in September)

    There's a lot of North West steam activity that weekend but if the weathers right on Saturday there's only one place to be !!

    The Vulcan also displayed at Windermere, and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster appeared. Photos of both aircraft here, including some taken at Farnborough last year:

    There's a video of Saturdays Windermere flight on my Youtube channel. Unfortunately she wasn't able to put on a full display as she had to burn up extra fuel for 1/2hr or so holding over Ullswater (see newsletter).
