    Hi all,

    We (Me,Cameron Burgess and Ash Burgess) have decided to setup a new multi-user YT account to put our vids together,this is the first vid to be displayed and shows many of the Vulcan Foundry's finest locos in action.

    Vulcan Foundry:
    Here is a collection of clips showing some of the Vulcan Foundry's finest locos. The Vulcan Foundry was the home of English Electric who built many of the first generation diesels including:Class 20,37,40,50,55. The Vulcan Foundry also built many steam locos including a number of Black Five's amongst other steam locos. The Vulcan Foundry was located in Newton-Le-Willows and it opened in 1832 and closed in 2002.

    Can you check those dates and the location? AFAIK Vulcan Foundry was located at Newton-le-Willows and was visible from the WCML. This works certainly built locos after 1962, the BR class 50s and their Portuguese equivalents for a start.
