I am aware of someone who may be in the market for a W.D. class D open wagon - does anyone know of any which may welcome a new home? Condition immaterial as the new owner would be prepared to carry out a full restoration - so anything considered!

If you can't find one, you may find it just as easy to make one, there isn't too much to it.

  3. seconded to williams post it would probably easier to build from new than to restore one

If the prospective owner wanted to build a new one he would have done so. An original is what is required, if possible!

As they are a very useful bit of kit, I doubt very much if anyone would part with one.
