Welcome to Warwickshire's Railways where we are recording the history of the county's railways up to 1968. Visit the MR, LNWR, SMJ, GWR, GC and the industrial scenes too.

To date (January 2010) there are over 6000 images on the site. In the three and half years since the site was first launched my skills have improved in Photoshop, this plus the need to accommodate the higher speeds and size of VDUs has led to the site being revamped before all of the locations were populated. Therefore all of the original pages are being upgraded with larger and better quality images and supplemented by additional photos collected since the pages were populated. The site now covers most of the stations, sheds and other significant locations throught the county of Warwickshire and for completeness, other stations within adjacent counties on routes that are in the county of Warwickshire.

What is required are more station/line histories and more infomed captions (many stations were never personally known to me). In addition, the county's industrial railways are very poorly represented so volunteers for this aspect are very welcome. All contributors will be given full credit wherever their contribution is placed.

If you like what you please write in the guest book.
