Anyone who uses the social networking service Twitter may be interested to know that the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway is now represented on it - I've set up the service today.

The intention is to use the service to post alerts of train services, special events, happenings etc. This is already used successfully by other lines notably the Talyllyn.

Should you want to sign up you can find our entry by searching on Twitter for "Welshpool & Llanfair" or "LlanfairLine".

    Cheers

    Hi Andrew,

Could you also post anything on her too? People are much more likely to notice it here than on twitter (well I am!)

Any news of note I will - the Twitter site is more a reminder service, when trains are running, that sort of thing. Just for info trains will be running until next Sunday (1st Nov) when our season officially ends. Straight after that we start relaying track up Sylfaen bank.

    Cheers
