    Anyone know which steam loco is being hired for this summer's services ?

    Also I notice they are having a Mixed Traction Event on August 1st / 2nd. Any idea of what will be operating, and to what timetable as it says a special t/t is to be used ?

    Yes 80105 is coming to the Wensleydale railway and it will be working from 17th July - 8th August then 12th August-30th August.

    August 1st/2nd.
    I am trying to find out what will be working and what the timetable will be, as soon as i find out i will let you know.

    So far, Sunday 1st August there is a BBQ on at Redmire station all day and to co-incide with this we intend to work the 2 choppers(20020+20166) in multi all day. 3 service trains and then a later train as well, 17.45 from Leeming.
    Hope this helps will let you know of anymore developments.

    Due to unavoidable circumstances,
    no trains will be running on the Wensleydale Railway
