    Hi,
As things are developing at the Wensleydale line and we expand both our diesel and steam operation we would love to hear from anyone who would like to get involved in all aspects of the business. We currently require guards, secondmen, cleaners, crossing keepers, TTI's, buffet staff etc etc.
A lot of things have changed over the last few years and hopefully will continue to grow but this needs more people.
Anyone interested can either PM me or contact me on ops@wensleydalerailway.com

    Cheers

I'd like to follow on from what Paul has said.

I'm an active Volunteer on the railway, Engine Cleaner, and generally wanting to learn about steam operation, of the eventual goal of becoming a Fireman and then Driver. Today I've been helping on Sir Lamiel, and yesterday was working on 5643! Fantastic experience!

I had worked on another Railway before coming to the WR, but what strikes me about the WR is the friendly group you work with. We very much need volunteers, and I can assure anyone that they would be made very welcome. To give anyone idea of what the railway hopes to offer over this year, and the next, check out this video.
