    I have added a small collection featuring William Adams designs for the North London Railway (later LNWR)


    Locomotives of the North London Railway

    In the early days, locomotives were bought from outside builders but, from 1863, they were built in the North London Railway's workshops at Bow, London.

    4-4-0T (16" inside cylinders) built 1863-1865

    4-4-0T (17" inside cylinders) built 1865-1869

    4-4-0T (17" outside cylinders) built 1868-1876

    4-4-0T (17½" outside cylinders) built 1876
