    Where the track has been ripped up and trains replaced by buses that are withdrawn soon after because they are no longer viable. :)

    Our 60's weekend on the 30th and 31st July comes close; we've got the buses but aren't going as far as stopping running trains or lifting track! That said if you go to Corwen there's no track there yet, so you could pretend it's just been lifted - the trackbed has been tidied up in readiness for the extension so it even looks like it's recently had track on it!!
