WSR 2018 Diesel Operation

    After all the "will it, won't it" in 2017, the WSR 2018 diesel loco operating dates have already been agreed!
    These will appear in the published timetable under "Brown Timetable", two steam and one diesel loco hauled diagrams on those days.

    All Saturdays 11:15 & 15:15 from BL and 13:15 & 17:15 from MD so back to 80 mile diagrams!
    Dates are:
    May 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th
    June 16th, 23rd & 30th
    July 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th
    August 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th
    September 15th & 22nd

    Loco allocations to follow in due course.

    That’s all so far but there will likely be more from past experience!

    The Diesel Gala is 8th - 10th June and the mixed traction Late Summer Weekend is 1st & 2nd September.
