    The K1 with the final week of this years 'Jacobite'. The loco was turned for two days to be smokebox first from Mallaig, presenting some new photo opportunities;

    I know the setting helps but again, this is a truly superb set of clips and it's very generous of you to have posted them for the benefit of all. Thanks.

    Can only give you ten out of ten for this one Austin-well done, brings back memories of a week in August with my mate Tony Hartle and with Old Henry Elliott as our guide

    Austin, there was a time when we all rated Linesiders videos as the ones to beat, well I think he had better start looking to his laurels, this one is excellent, great shots, angles and camera work from different locations...

    Excellent footage, but no doubt some 'expert' will be along soon to tell us that the driver has no idea how to drive a '5' accusing him of being nearly in mid gear when trying to start, resulting in the slipping.....:rolleyes:

    You also missed out Ralph about the "expert" saying that the driver (good job Mr H btw!) having no route knowledge what so ever as well so didn't need it in 2nd valve!

    Thanks once again for your very kind comments.

    Thanks Shep, are you sure he's happy being called 'Old Henry'!

    Many thanks Ralph, I don't think David has anything to fear, his work is still the benchmark.
