I'm guessing that means next Tuesday's Ealing Broadway to Chesterfield tour has been cancelled then.

It would appear so, its no longer on the Steam Dreams website. Also explains why the Windsor trips are on hold until the 28th

Although on the surface this could be seen as a reduction in healthy competition, there was minimal overlap between SD's trips and LSL's other brands, so it may not make much difference. It is however a little reminiscent of some other sectors of commerce where numerous apparently distinct brands are all owned by a single conglomerate.

But see also discussion on other threads, particularly https://www.national-preservation.c...press-tuesdays-may-august-2022.1420202/unread

It cruised through Ravensthorpe with barely a whisper.
That was the first time ever that I'd seen 46100,(and I've been an enthusiast for ever;)), I'd seen a lot of Scots but that was a Royal Scot 'cop'.:)
And I must say it looked splendid.

Nothing wrong with that, i recently 'copped' a semi from a school trip back in 1960/1 by a process of elimination.

A bit like that game where you eventually find the answer by ruling out all the other possibilities.

46226 Duchess of Norfolk i recall.

And I bet that sixty years ago you wouldn't have dreamed that this sighting would have been a 'cop' in 2022! Life brings its surprises day by day. A magical moment like the day I logged the journey of my final Merchant Navy of the class - 35024. Of no importance to anyone else but a memorable moment. (Sorry - this should be in 'cheer me up' thread.)

FWIW a rough record video of 45231 + ECS + diesel through Harrow & Wealdstone http://mellish.uk/Videos/45231lbr.mp4
As I walked back along the platform I was thinking that the last time I was behind that class of loco through that station would have been about 60 years ago.
