    Although on the surface this could be seen as a reduction in healthy competition, there was minimal overlap between SD's trips and LSL's other brands, so it may not make much difference. It is however a little reminiscent of some other sectors of commerce where numerous apparently distinct brands are all owned by a single conglomerate.

    It cruised through Ravensthorpe with barely a whisper.
    That was the first time ever that I'd seen 46100,(and I've been an enthusiast for ever;)), I'd seen a lot of Scots but that was a Royal Scot 'cop'.:)

    Nothing wrong with that, i recently 'copped' a semi from a school trip back in 1960/1 by a process of elimination.

    A bit like that game where you eventually find the answer by ruling out all the other possibilities.

A magical moment like the day I logged the journey of my final Merchant Navy of the class - 35024. Of no importance to anyone else but a memorable moment. (Sorry - this should be in 'cheer me up' thread.)
