Lizzie passed the site of the old Bletchingdon station at Enslow Wharf more-or-less on time. Extra layers not needed after all.

I notice 44871 is down for a Bury - Kidderminster move tomorrow on UKSteam, is this likely to take place ?, presumably to cover for 2857 being unavailible on the SVR ?.

Sitting in Platform 12 taking water. I just happened to be passing over Crewe in a microlight... Not allowed below 1,000 over built up area so not very clear, unable to work zoom with gloves on.

Not too bad actually, sitting in the back seat with the pilot and his windscreen to take the wind off, only fingers and feet got a bit cool, mind you did have extra layers and a one piece duvet on....

The thought had already crossed my mind..... cue suitable music...... long flight in the dawn light, a couple of low level runs coming in out of the sun, then head north until out of sight to throw them off the scent before turning for home.
Flak, get it all the time in this job..
