6201 Princess Elizabeth dep Banbury at 1300.
Thanks to Simon. <BJ>.
Lizzie passed the site of the old Bletchingdon station at Enslow Wharf more-or-less on time. Extra layers not needed after all.
Managed to get a few shots at Hatton this morning.

Thought I'd try the Flickr thing. Not sure if I've go it right but this should be Lizzie from Friday. Overcast at the time, 20 minutes later it brightened up, isn't it always the way.

I notice 44871 is down for a Bury - Kidderminster move tomorrow on UKSteam, is this likely to take place ?, presumably to cover for 2857 being unavailible on the SVR ?.
Cheers, looks like a runner then, been for enough moves recently that were caped at the last minute.
Timings now available. Thanks as ever to uksteam. <BJ>
3 late at Winsford so I'm told.
Sitting in Platform 12 taking water. I just happened to be passing over Crewe in a microlight... Not allowed below 1,000 over built up area so not very clear, unable to work zoom with gloves on.
A simple record shot of 44871 and support coach passing Acton Bridge Station this morning:
44871 on a Positioning Move to Kidderminster SVR - 13/122012 - YouTube
It is something of a "record" as I can't ever remember being the only person at Acton Bridge - perhaps the temperature may have something to do with it!
That must have been pretty chilly up there today Ralph!

Lovely lighting (not).
Not too bad actually, sitting in the back seat with the pilot and his windscreen to take the wind off, only fingers and feet got a bit cool, mind you did have extra layers and a one piece duvet on....
Wow Ralph looks like fun. Perhaps you could pop up to Carnforth...........? hoto:
Im not sure Ralph has experience of flying through the flack from anti aircraft guns
There has to be a first time for everything......:target::target:
The thought had already crossed my mind..... cue suitable music...... long flight in the dawn light, a couple of low level runs coming in out of the sun, then head north until out of sight to throw them off the scent before turning for home.
Flak, get it all the time in this job..
Post of the year, had me laughing for ages.
