Possibly. Very hard to tell how much of an impact the MK2s are having without speaking to every single passenger on every trip, whose had previous MK1 experience. And even then do Joe Public keep booking if the enthusiast doesn’t?

2015 - POB, FO, FO, Kitchen, FO, FO, FO, FO, Kitchen, FO, FO, BSK - 12 coaches and a capicity of 336. 10 years later - Couple of coaches lost. 60 seats lost. Prices well up. To me that’s a declining market, but you’ll probably tell me otherwise!

A very good job all round with the event turning a profit which is what matters the most. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and all the locos behaved. Couldn’t quite organise the weather for the whole thing, but suspect that helped keep us...

2857. It’s not heading anywhere. It’s being worked on by the owning group every 2/3 weeks to keep stripping bits off the back head, etc. Tarp is just to keep the cladding/lagging protected
