We don't only have carriages that would benefit from cover, but also newly restored wagons, which go straight back into the open.:( Cover is also needed for a lovely horse box on the line, as well as a GWR inspection saloon. I stood on a MACAW...

They are longer, iirc 700ft instead of 400ft. The original platforms served the 'Coffeepot', a rail motor and a trailer. Our instructions were to build platforms long enough for 10 coaches And the toilets you'd need with that volume of people......
