    Suspect the WoE service reductions have forced a potential ban on any excursions due to lack of paths caused by slower speeds. A reversal at Fareham would seem to be the only other location to turn the whole train ready for a 'steam-hauled'...

    RTC website - https://www.railwaytouring.net/dce-13-08-26 - states it is diesel hauled. The confirmed timings on it show the excursion to be around one hour earlier at Bournemouth and Weymouth on the outward journey than would have been the case...
