The Class 47 and one of the Class 20's were rostered on a six coach set which was packed for most of the day. It was our third year of visiting this event and the amount of people turning up for the park and ride at Ropley today was astonishing....

There is good news re the "Gap" project, that the ground investigations have confirmed that there are no significant problems along the route with good ground rock 15 - 20m below the alluvial deposits. There is a report on the GCR website.

A cracking day out in the Cotswolds with a couple of classic vehicles. An ex-Southdown Leyland Titan PD2 and a Rolls Royce 20/25. Very fond memories of the Southdown Titans as I would travel on them in and around Chichester during childhood...
