Congratulations to the candidates elected today as Trustees of the WSRA, in free and fair elections. Let us hope that the WSSRT will follow suit and set a new date for their AGM very soon.

Having attended the WSRA AGM remotely I am pleased at how it was conducted and that questions and answers were possible, both from the floor and online. Barrie

The PDG report made interesting reading: unanimity, somethings rare concerning the WSR, but good to read it. A very mixed bag of bedfellows, for sure, but lets give them a sporting chance and not look for monsters under the bed! ;)

So PDG endorse the idea of structural change that places the WSR plc inside a parent charity. I will admit I thought long and hard about what PDG should say as did everybody. PDG felt it was better to say something than to say nothing. You...

The personal attacks on those standing for the positions of Trustee of the WSSRT are a total disgrace to the WSR. The ten, no matter what you think of them as people, or their aims as a group, are exercising their rights as members of the WSSRT...

I agree with you. Troublemaker:- “Someone who causes problems for other people” (Cambridge Dictionary). So perhaps that’s people who upset other people, or break agreements/contracts, or bully and harass people, or remove Policies to stop...

The HPC Community Engagement Project was in a large part intended for and targeted toward Bridgwater & Taunton Colleges, the project included engaging them to enable their trainees/apprentices (whichever word people want to use) to be able to be...

This PDG meeting will prove indicative of whether we move forward or remain in the mire! It is absolutely imperative that all the contentious issues are discussed out in the open at that meeting and if really contentious redacted in the minutes

An update letter from the Swanage Railway Trust this morning. SR took over £250,000 in fares and shop sales during August alone. Income has exceeded expectations and patronage continues to be encouraging.

If there is now absolutely no chance of S&DRT remaining at Washford, then I would suggest best use of the site would be to relocate the stock stored in Shearing's Yard and dispense with that significant rent liability. I would much rather retain...

Part of getting to know a new locomotive would involve checking it over especially after a road journey. One would expect that to happen as a matter of routine irrespective of how extensive any handover information may have been. You can't do...

It seems to me the ideal is a new(amalgamated) charity that controls the PLC. I think the PLC know this too, and will try any means to prevent it
