yep, I just thought due to ESPS being separate to the NVR, it would be best to have our own thread for updates on 654, such as fundraising, the move and overhaul when the time comes, rather than keeping it in the NVR thread

It wasnt due to the locos size, at the time the workshop space couldn’t commit to another loco overhaul, with 92 Swuadron at the time in there, Thomas in there, and 656 and 73050 waiting to go in after they had come out so the workshop space...

I remember the late Eightpot regaling a tale of a German 'Dampsflugmann' (Steamploughman) rushing up to Him holding a bolt and saying 'Vitvort, Vitvort.' Similarly German slang for a rule is 'incstuck' (Inch stick)
