You can’t do anything about a member of the public taking a photo from a public vantage point - but that’s not the same as a member of staff taking a photo from inside a shed or workshop. The video of shunting had the back of the tender sheeted...

I really feel like this discussion is trying to argue black is white, but I think it summarises to this: 1. Compounding in the UK context never made any business sense at the time. 2. You could build a 2 cylinder compound engine, but it comes...

People are not superfluous, whatever their social standing. However Britain's social history is so vastly different from that of Denmark, to Brits it is hardly believable, despite the 1788 decree ending stavnsbånd, ordinary Danes had so little...

Paul42 liked Fenway's post in the thread Steam and Steeple Cab Electric Locos at the Mariazell Tramway in Austria.
The Museumstramway Mariazell is often overshadowed by the more famous, very long and very mountainous narrow gauge railway (760 mm Bosnian gauge) that leads from St. Pölten to Mariazell. From the remote and inconvienently located Mariazell...

I would urge anyone to simply ignore any comment on social media that doesn’t come from an official SVR source. Don’t fuel uninformed speculation.
