This move is Freightliner, not GBRF. This probably make things a bit more complicated as FL have only air-braked locos, whereas I believe GBRF have some 73s which are still dual braked. Looks like quite a complicated shunt is in progress to get...

"Why do more railways not do that then?" The simple answer is cost. I guess that in this instance it is GBRf who have arranged this move and are paying themselves to do it. Hopefully the Bluebell are getting paid for the loan of the loco. Peter

Yes but...... now that it is seemingly working so flawlessly, what was all the delay about in the first place? I cant help but feel that the jury is still out on the ability of the current management. I know that the original team were a hard act...
