    See, that makes more sense "it says on the drawing we need these new-fangled lamp irons here, here and here, so they can have them, but we only need to put lamps on the bottom 3, so do those properly."

    There's a shot of 48431 in service (in the Alan Warren book on Barry Scrapyard locos, if I remember correctly) entering Snow Hill on a freight. She has a GWR-style lamp mounted sideways on the upper lamp iron!

    Thnak you. I hope the loco's appearnce at GG results in further financial and physical support for the projoect. It was certainly a highlihgt for me to see it next to Locomotion and the latest Alstom product

    At the Great Gathering 82045 was certainly popular and it proved a financially successful trip. Thanks to all who donated or purchased clothing and items.
