82045 The way ahead?

See, that makes more sense "it says on the drawing we need these new-fangled lamp irons here, here and here, so they can have them, but we only need to put lamps on the bottom 3, so do those properly."

 

I think there were various combinations.

 

Here’s KWVR’s Swindon built 8F with combination brackets on the buffer beam and a standard one on the smokebox door ……

 

There's a shot of 48431 in service (in the Alan Warren book on Barry Scrapyard locos, if I remember correctly) entering Snow Hill on a freight. She has a GWR-style lamp mounted sideways on the upper lamp iron!

 

Apologies if you have slready published this but where on the Alstom site is 82045?

 

It's in one of the sheds next to Locomotion No1

 

I believe it's G Shop. Just inside from the main entertainment zone
